12 AMP Electronic "Simple" and "Smart" Switch

Our NEW 12 amp "electronic" switches come standard with some great switching features.

The "Simple" Switch uses the power from the receiver or powerbox to switch the 12 amp load from any Li-Po, Nimh or Nicad battery pack up to 12 amps and 40 volts. The "Simple" switch is as it's name implies, very easy to use. Plug in the unit between the battery and the load, plug in the supplied pigtail into any open receiver (or "Y") or powerbox port and the unit will switch the high amp load anytime the receiver switch is turned on. Each unit comes with a male and female Molex 12 amp connectors. A pair of bypass leads is supplied for use on our lighting controller's retract lighting switch function.

If you need to turn the load on and off with a specific radio channel, then choose the "Smart" switch.

The "Smart" Switch is great for switching our Multi Watt lighting systems or any other load on and off using a signal from any transmitter channel. The Smart Switch will work with any radio and non-flight loaded battery packs. Like on the "Simple" switch, You can switch up to 40 volts and up to 12 amps with no problems.

Here's how the simple programming works:  Press the programming button on the top of the Smart Switch and hold it down while cycling the RX power on. This resets the programming, blanking the system memory. Once the button is released after the power comes on, The programming light will flash slowly for a short time. Once the flashing gets faster, place the transmitter switch to be used in what will be the "off" position, press and release the programming button. The red light will go solid red for 2 seconds and then come back on flashing even faster. Almost done...Set the transmitter switch used to the "on" position and press and release the programming button again. The red light will go solid red once again and you're done. The Smart Switch will now operate from the transmitter switch commands.

Each Smart Switch comes with a male to male JR Type receiver connector , 1 male, 1 female 12 amp Molex connector and a pair of bypass leads for use with our lighting system's retract lighting switch.
